• For a better experience: The surface is hand-polished 3 times. Even if natural wood knot, you can't feel any dents by hand. If rolling pin is only polished, it still has a little wood fibers. In order to avoid the problem, we apply mineral oil after each polishing and dry it. The mineral oil can be completely safe to come into contact with food.
• Maintenance and Cleaning: Prevent dough from sticking by ensuring a smooth surface on your rolling pin. Both ends are tapered for easier cleaning. Just rinse with water or wipe with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. We have applied mineral oil before packaging, and we suggest reapplying mineral or olive oil 1-2 times per month for a more textured wood grain.
• Material: The dough rolling pins are all made of sapele wood, special treatment on the surface to avoid excessive moisture penetration. They are totally safe in use.
